Replacement carburettor designed for Chinese-made 52cc petrol chainsaws. Compatible with models having the specified mounting dimensions.
Mounting hole centres of 30 mm are the key parameter when choosing a replacement carburettor. Before buying, measure the distance between the centres of the holes in the mounting on the engine block to confirm compatibility.
A body 64 mm wide and 30 mm deep provides adequate mixing chamber volume for 52cc engines. The compact dimensions make fitting easier in the confined space inside the saw housing.
A carburettor designed specifically for 52cc two-stroke petrol engines manufactured in China. Typically used in chainsaws and brushcutters in this segment.
| Model | G81123 |
| Application | Chinese-made 52cc petrol chainsaws |
| Body width | 64 mm |
| Body depth | 30 mm |
| Mounting hole centres | 30 mm |
| Design type | Diaphragm carburettor |
Before fitting, check the dimensions of the old carburettor: measure the mounting hole centres (should be 30 mm), the body width (64 mm) and the depth (30 mm). Make sure the diameter of the fuel and air spigots matches the diameter of the hoses on the saw. The removed carburettor can be used as a reference when buying.
After fitting the carburettor, the fuel/air mixture must be adjusted. The idle and main jet adjusting screws should be set in accordance with the chainsaw manufacturer's recommendations. Typically the L screw (low speed) is set 1.5 turns out from the fully closed position, and the H screw (high speed) 1.25 turns out.
Regular carburettor maintenance includes cleaning the air filter every 5-10 hours of operation and periodically checking the diaphragms for leaks. When running fuel with a synthetic oil additive, cleaning the jets every 50 hours of operation is recommended. It is important to use a fresh fuel mix – petrol mixed with oil should not be stored for longer than 30 days.
