A material with elevated manganese content (0.62-0.70%) that offers increased resistance to tearing and abrasion. It extends chain life under intensive use and reduces how often the chain needs sharpening.
Semi-chisel tooth
The cutting tooth geometry balances cutting speed with edge durability. It performs well in clean and moderately soiled wood, where a full chisel would require more frequent sharpening.
Kickback reduction system
Special drive links limit kickback – the sudden recoil of the saw when the tip of the guide bar contacts the material. This increases safety at work, especially when cutting branches at an angle.

Checking chain compatibility
Before buying, verify three guide bar parameters: the pitch (the distance between three consecutive rivets divided by two), the gauge of the guide bar groove, and the number of links of the original chain. A mismatch in any of these parameters will prevent correct fitting.

Maintenance and use
Check the chain tension before every use – a correctly tensioned chain sits against the guide bar but can be pulled about 3-5 mm away from it. A chain that is too loose may come off, while one that is too tight accelerates wear on the guide bar and the engine.
A sharp cutting edge is essential for efficient work. A blunt chain requires more pressure, which increases equipment wear and the risk of kickback. Sharpening is carried out with a round file of a diameter suited to the pitch (for 3/8" – a 4.8 mm file) at an angle of 30 degrees.
Check the chain oil level before every start-up of the saw. Running dry leads to overheating of the chain and irreversible damage to the guide bar. After finishing work, it is worth cleaning the chain of sawdust and resin, which extends its service life.
Chain fitting direction
Fit the chain so that the tooth cutting edges on the top of the guide bar point towards the tip of the bar (away from the engine). Fitting it the other way round prevents cutting and may damage the guide bar.
