A chainsaw disc with a steel body and a cutting chain around its circumference, designed for working wood with an angle grinder. The design allows precise cutting, shaping and carving in wood and wood-based materials.
The chain tensioned around the circumference of the steel body delivers an aggressive cutting action in wood. Unlike standard abrasive discs, the chain removes material by cutting, which means faster working and greater control over shaping the surface.
The 115 mm size corresponds to small angle grinders (commonly called 4.5 inch). The 22.2 mm mounting bore is standard for most grinders in this class. Check compatibility with your tool before fitting.
The disc is built to withstand the rotational speeds typical of angle grinders (up to 13,000 rpm depending on the model). The steel body and chain mounting system provide stability when the tool is run at its maximum settings.
The disc is suitable for cutting, shaping, debarking, carving and smoothing wood. It can be used on solid wood, plywood, chipboard and other wood-based materials. It is not intended for metal, concrete or stone.

A chainsaw disc requires particular care. Use the grinder's guard, work gloves, safety goggles and a dust mask. Before starting work, check that the disc is securely fitted and that the chain is in good condition. Do not use it on materials other than wood. Avoid working at an angle that could cause kickback.
The cutting chain wears during use. Check its condition regularly – blunt or damaged links reduce performance and increase the risk of an accident. Depending on how intensively it is used, the chain may need replacing after a few hours of work. Once you have finished, clean chips and wood dust off the disc. Store it in a dry place, protected from moisture, which can cause corrosion of the steel body.
