The YATO YT-84934 guide bar is a cutting component for petrol or electric chainsaws with a length of 15 inches, made from Mn65 manganese steel. It is designed for chains with a .325" pitch, 0.058" gauge and 64 drive links.
A material with increased hardness and abrasion resistance. Manganese steel retains its mechanical properties at high temperatures, which prevents deformation of the guide groove during intensive chainsaw use.
The four-rivet construction ensures stable mounting of the nose. The roller bearing reduces chain rolling resistance, which lowers the load on the engine and limits wear on the drive links.
An internal channel feeds oil directly to the guide groove and nose. Even lubrication reduces friction, extends the service life of the chain and bar, and prevents the cutting system from overheating.
The bar works with YATO YT-84941 and YT-84963 chains, as well as products from other brands with matching specifications: .325" pitch, 0.058" gauge, 64 drive links.

Before buying, verify three parameters: bar length (15"), chain pitch (.325") and gauge (0.058"). These parameters must match the chainsaw's technical specifications. The YATO YT-84934 guide bar is designed for the YATO YT-84900 chainsaw, but it can also be used on other models with identical technical requirements.
Before starting work, check the chain tension – a correctly tensioned chain should not sit more than 3–5 mm away from the bar at its midpoint. A chain that is too loose may come out of the groove, while one that is too tight accelerates wear on the bar and bearing.
The lubrication system requires regular topping up with chain oil. An adhesive oil is recommended, as it clings to the surface of the bar and is not thrown off by centrifugal force. Check the oil level before every use of the chainsaw.
Clean the guide groove after every few hours of work. Sawdust and resin that accumulate in the groove obstruct the flow of oil and cause uneven chain wear. Use a special scraper or a flat-head screwdriver for cleaning.
Periodically turning the bar through 180 degrees is recommended, as this evens out wear on the guide groove. This extends the service life of the bar by 30–40%. Grease the sprocket nose with bearing grease every 10–15 hours of work.
