A workshop tool designed for fitting and removing suspension coil springs on cars and light commercial vehicles. The set of three heads with different working ranges covers springs from 65 to 212 mm in diameter, with no need to change the whole tool.
The set includes heads with 65–125 mm, 88–160 mm and 126–212 mm ranges. One tool therefore covers the full spectrum of springs used on typical cars and light commercial vehicles — from compact front springs to the larger components fitted to rear suspension.
The compressor's design allows the spring to be compressed evenly and under control, which reduces the risk of it releasing suddenly during work. This matters particularly when removing springs under load, where an uncontrolled release of stored energy puts the operator at risk.
All components of the set are stored in a dedicated case. This keeps the parts organised, prevents the heads from being mislaid and makes it easier to move the tool between workstations or to take it out on mobile jobs.
At 16 kg, the weight of the set reflects the use of robust materials. The tool is intended for regular use in a professional automotive workshop, where repeatability and reliability of operation are essential.

The KD10528 compressor is designed for work on the suspension systems of cars and light commercial vehicles. Before selecting a head, measure the outside diameter of the spring and choose the matching working range.
Before starting work, measure the outside diameter of the spring. The 65–125 mm head suits most front springs on compact cars. The 88–160 mm head handles mid-size springs, typical of mid-range cars and SUVs. The 126–212 mm head is intended for the larger springs used on light commercial vehicles or on the rear axles of larger saloons.
Safety goggles and gloves must always be worn when working with a coil spring compressor. Suspension springs store a considerable amount of energy — incorrect use of the tool or fitting a head with the wrong range can result in the spring being released uncontrollably.
After work is finished, clean dirt and grease off the components of the set and store them in the case supplied. Checking the condition of the clamping mechanism and the threads at regular intervals keeps the tool in working order and helps prevent failures when it is under load.
