The 15° offset combination spanner is a hand tool that combines the functions of an open end and a ring end in a single body. The YATO YT-5014 in 20 mm is designed for fitting and removing hex bolts and nuts in workshop and industrial conditions.
The 15° offset increases the clearance between the hand and the work surface. This allows work in recesses and on fasteners mounted close to walls or other components. After each turn the spanner can be repositioned by 30°, which speeds up work in confined spaces.
Combining an open end and a ring end in a single tool removes the need to carry two separate spanners. The open end is used for tightening where there is full access, while the ring end provides better grip and spreads the force across all the edges of the nut.
The spanner fits 20 mm hex bolts and nuts. This size is used in hydraulic and pneumatic installations and in the mechanics of medium-tonnage vehicles. Before buying, check the size of the nut with a vernier calliper or another spanner.
YATO spanners are made from chrome vanadium tool steel. This material is resistant to deformation under torsional loads and has hard working surfaces, which minimises wear on the gripping edges during prolonged use.
| Model | YT-5014 |

| Spanner size | 20 mm |
| Offset angle (ring end) | 15° |
| Tool type | Combination spanner |
| Application | Hex bolts and nuts |
The spanner should be placed on the nut so that the working surface makes full contact with all the edges of the fastener. Force should be applied along the axis of the spanner, avoiding sideways movement. Do not extend the spanner handle with pipes or use the tool as a lever for other purposes. After use, clean the spanner of dirt and store it in a dry place.
Before starting work, make sure that the spanner size matches the size of the nut. Play between the jaws of the spanner and the edges of the nut leads to damage to both parts. If in doubt, measure the size of the nut with a vernier calliper or compare it with a spanner of a known size.
