The 32 mm combination spanner is a workshop tool that combines two types of working end in a single body. Its carbon steel construction with a ring end offset at 15 degrees delivers functionality in confined working spaces.
Carbon steel is characterised by resistance to deformation under load and a hard working surface. This material provides wear resistance during regular use in workshop conditions.
The 32 mm spanner is designed for metric M20 bolts and nuts. This size is standard in heavy goods vehicle mechanics, industrial machinery and hydraulic and pneumatic installations.
The offset angle of the ring end allows work in areas with limited access without the need for a full turn of the tool. With each repositioning of the spanner the angle can be altered by 30 degrees, which shortens assembly time.
Combining an open end and a ring end in a single spanner removes the need to change tools during work. The open end is suited to initial tightening, while the ring end is suited to final torque tightening.

Before starting work, check that the spanner size matches the nut or bolt head. Play between the spanner end and the fastener leads to edge damage and rounded corners. The 32 mm spanner is intended for nuts and bolts with a spanner size of "32" to the ISO standard.
When tightening, apply a pulling force rather than a pushing force. The ring end distributes stress better and reduces the risk of slipping. Never extend the spanner handle with a pipe or strike the spanner with a hammer. Use penetrating fluid on seized fasteners.
After use, clean the spanner of dirt and protect it with a thin film of oil. Store in a dry place protected from moisture. Check the condition of the working ends regularly — worn or damaged edges can damage fasteners.
When working with workshop spanners, work gloves and safety glasses are recommended, particularly when loosening corroded or over-tightened fasteners. When working under load there is a risk of the fastener suddenly coming loose.
