An 8-piece combination spanner set made from drop-forged chrome vanadium steel, covering sizes 6-19 mm. The 12-point ring end and satin finish deliver precise performance in mechanical workshops, service bays and assembly work.
Compared with ordinary carbon steel, CrV offers greater hardness and wear resistance. The addition of vanadium increases mechanical strength, which translates into a longer tool life under regular workshop use.
The drop forging process produces a uniform material structure free from voids. This method guarantees precise jaw and head dimensions, which minimises play when working on nuts and bolts and reduces the risk of damaging the edges of fasteners.
The 12-point profile of the ring end allows the spanner to be repositioned every 30 degrees instead of every 60 degrees as with a 6-point profile. This makes it easier to manoeuvre in confined spaces where a full turn of the spanner is not possible.
The satin surface gives a matt finish with improved grip. This finish reduces hand slippage during work, particularly in contact with oil or other substances. The satin surface is also resistant to fingerprints and scratches.

The ring end is offset at 15 degrees, which allows work in places where a nut or bolt sits below the level of the surrounding components. This prevents the hand from rubbing against adjacent surfaces when the spanner is repeatedly fitted and removed.
Store the spanners in the supplied textile case, which protects the tools against mechanical damage and moisture. After use, wipe the spanners with a dry cloth to remove dirt and chemical substances.
If they come into contact with water or corrosive substances, dry the tools and apply a thin layer of protective oil. Regular maintenance extends the life of the spanners and prevents surface corrosion.
The spanner size corresponds to the distance across the flats of a nut or bolt head (the across-flats size). Before buying, it is worth checking which fastener sizes are most common in the intended applications. In automotive mechanics, the 6-19 mm range covers most standard bolted connections.
