Common Rail Injector Leak-Off Tester KD10698
A diagnostic tool designed to measure the amount of fuel returned through the leak-off lines of Common Rail injectors in diesel engines with 1 to 6 cylinders. The kit allows faulty, contaminated and leaking injectors to be identified by comparing the fuel quantities delivered by each cylinder.
Key features
Fuel leak-off measurement
Diagnosis is based on measuring the quantity of fuel returned through the injector leak-off lines. A deviation from the reference value in any cylinder indicates a faulty injector — without the need to dismantle the injection system.
Wide adapter compatibility
The kit includes connectors dedicated to the four main Common Rail system manufacturers: Bosch, Siemens, Denso and Delphi. Before use, identify the manufacturer of the pump and injectors fitted to the vehicle being diagnosed.
Graduated measuring cylinders
The kit contains measuring cylinders in two sizes (large and small), allowing precise reading of the amount of fuel collected from each injector during the test. The results for individual cylinders are compared with one another in order to identify the faulty component.
Carry case
All components of the kit are stored in a plastic case with dedicated compartments for each part. This keeps the workplace tidy and makes it easy to transport the kit between workstations.

How it works — interpreting the test results
The test involves connecting the measuring cylinders to the leak-off lines of all injectors at the same time and then running the engine for a set period. The amount of fuel collected in each measuring cylinder should be similar for all cylinders. An injector that has collected significantly more or less fuel than the others requires reconditioning or replacement. The permissible difference limits should be verified against the technical documentation for the specific vehicle.
