Cordless Brushless Rotary Hammer 21V 3.5J SDS-Plus KD3190 KRAFT&DELE
The KD3190 is a cordless rotary hammer with a brushless motor, designed for drilling and chiselling in concrete, brick and stone. The tool runs on 21V, delivers 3.5J of impact energy and offers four operating modes, including the Vario-Lock function for locking the chisel angle. Supplied with two 21V/4Ah batteries and a charger.
Technical features
Brushless motor
The brushless design does away with the carbon brushes that are the main wear item in conventional electric motors. The result is lower energy losses during operation, a longer tool life and lower servicing requirements under intensive use.
3.5J impact energy
Impact energy determines the force of a single blow delivered by the bit into the material. At 3.5J it is sufficient for drilling holes in concrete and brick and for light chiselling work — cutting chases in plaster, removing ceramic tiles or taking down brick walls.
SDS-Plus chuck
The SDS-Plus standard allows drill bits and chisels to be fitted without a key — simply push the bit in and twist. SDS-Plus accessories are widely available and include concrete drill bits, flat chisels, points and concrete core bits.
Safety clutch
If the bit jams in the material — for example, on hitting rebar — the clutch disengages the drive instead of transmitting the torque to the operator's hand. This limits the risk of wrist injury and protects the gearbox from mechanical damage.
Operating modes
The tool offers four operating modes, which can be selected according to the material and the task at hand:
Drilling without hammer action
Rotation only, with the hammer mechanism disengaged. Intended for wood, metal, ceramics and plastics, and for driving screws with the appropriate bits.
Hammer drilling
Rotation combined with hammer action. The main mode for drilling into concrete, stone and solid brick — the hammer action helps to break through hard material.
Chiselling
Hammer action only, with no rotation. Used for cutting installation chases, removing ceramic and porcelain tiles and stripping plaster.
Vario-Lock
Lets you set and lock the chisel at the required working angle. Useful when working in confined spaces or when a constant chiselling direction has to be maintained for a longer period.
