36V (2x18V) Power System
The saw uses two YATO 18V batteries, which together deliver a working voltage of 36V. This solution increases cutting power while maintaining compatibility with widely used system batteries. It allows work to be carried out where there is no access to mains power.
14-Inch Guide Bar with Tool-Free Tensioning
A 14" (approximately 35.6 cm) guide bar allows wood up to 30 cm in diameter to be cut in a single pass. The tool-free chain tensioning system allows quick adjustment of chain tension without spanners, speeding up both preparation of the tool for work and maintenance.
Automatic Chain Lubrication System
A 170 ml oil tank provides continuous lubrication of the chain and guide bar during operation. The automatic lubrication system reduces friction, extends the life of the cutting system and improves cutting efficiency. It removes the need to apply oil manually during use.
Operating Parameters and Safety Features
The motor reaches a speed of 4500 rpm, which translates into a chain speed of 8.5 m/s. The saw is fitted with a switch with a lock-off to prevent accidental starting, a 4-level battery charge indicator and thermal protection to protect the cells from overheating.

Battery System Compatibility
The saw requires two YATO 18V batteries to operate. Batteries and charger are sold separately. Before buying, it is worth checking the availability of batteries with a suitable capacity — a higher capacity (expressed in Ah) means a longer run time per charge. The recommended minimum capacity is 2.0 Ah per battery.
Use and Maintenance
Preparing for Use
Before first use, fill the chain lubrication oil tank (170 ml capacity). Chain oil or guide bar oil is recommended. Then check the chain tension — a correctly tensioned chain should sit against the guide bar but still be able to be moved freely by hand. Tension is adjusted with a knob, without tools.
Checking Oil Level and Battery Charge
During operation, check the oil level in the tank regularly. Most models have a transparent level indicator. Running a dry chain leads to rapid wear of the guide bar and chain. A 4-level LED indicator shows the battery charge status — when it drops to one bar, it is worth having charged spare batteries ready.
Maintenance After Use
After finishing work, clean the saw of sawdust and debris, particularly around the guide bar and chain. It is worth checking the sharpness of the chain — a blunt chain requires greater pressure and puts more strain on the motor. Periodically check the condition of the guide bar, paying attention to even wear of the guide groove.
