Key features
Counter-rotating cutting blades
A pair of blades moving in opposite directions reduces vibration during use and gives a cleaner cut than a single moving blade. The blades are made from high-carbon steel, which combines hardness with a relatively low weight.
Rotating rear handle

Applications
The 18mm tooth spacing determines the maximum branch thickness the tool can cut without the risk of the blades jamming. The 520mm blade allows efficient work on small and medium-sized hedges. The KD5104 hedge trimmer is suitable for the following applications:

Use and maintenance
Before each use, check the battery charge level and make sure the blades are free from dirt and mechanical damage. After use, clean plant residue off the blades and apply a thin layer of oil, which limits corrosion and keeps the blades moving smoothly.
The lithium-ion battery does not need to be fully discharged before charging — it can be topped up at any time. Storing the battery at room temperature with a charge level of around 50% extends its life during longer periods out of use (e.g. over winter).
