60W power and fast heat-up
The 60W heating element brings the staples up to working temperature within 3 seconds. This short heat-up time speeds up the repair process and boosts productivity, particularly when carrying out a series of repairs one after another.
Working temperature up to 500°C
A maximum temperature of 500°C melts the staples and embeds them effectively in the structure of the plastic. The high temperature produces a durable bond in the material and gives the repaired area mechanical strength.
Compatibility with the Yato 18V system
The welder works with 18V Li-Ion batteries from the Yato range. A 2Ah battery is enough to heat a minimum of 500 staples, allowing long working sessions without frequent charging. Supplying the tool without a battery means you can use the cells you already own from other tools of this brand.
Compact 0.38 kg design

Before you start
Before welding, fit a charged 18V battery from the Yato system. The tool reaches working temperature within 3 seconds of being switched on. The LED light makes work easier in the poorly lit areas typical of engine bays and vehicle interiors.
The welding process
Welding involves embedding special staples into the material on both sides of the crack. The staples melt and penetrate the structure of the plastic, creating a durable joint. Once the weld is complete, the repaired area can be sanded, levelled and finished further.
Battery compatibility
The tool requires an 18V Li-Ion battery from the Yato range (sold separately). A 2Ah battery allows a minimum of 500 welds, which is enough for several average repairs. Keeping a spare battery on hand is worthwhile during intensive workshop use.
