Pads made from natural cork with a diameter of 20 mm, designed to protect surfaces from scratches, reduce vibration and provide thermal and acoustic insulation. Versatile use in the home, office and workshop.
Natural cork has an air-filled cellular structure that provides flexibility, resistance to compression and natural insulating properties. The material does not dry out or crumble and retains its properties over many years of use.
The soft structure of cork protects floors, worktops and furniture from scratches and dents caused when placing equipment or moving furniture. The pads spread the load evenly and protect delicate lacquered, laminated and stone surfaces.
The cellular structure of cork effectively dampens mechanical vibration and reduces impact noise. Using the pads under furniture legs, appliances or electronic equipment reduces the transmission of vibration to the floor and walls, which matters particularly in blocks of flats.
A diameter of 20 mm is a compromise between load-bearing area and a discreet appearance. The pads work well under standard furniture legs, as spacers in DIY projects and as protective elements in small electronic and decorative items.

Cork harvested from the bark of the cork oak has a number of technical properties that are important in protective and insulating applications. Cork has a density of around 120-200 kg/m³ which, combined with its cellular structure, provides resistance to compression and flexibility at the same time. The material is moisture-resistant – it does not absorb water, which prevents mould and decay.
Cork has a low thermal conductivity (around 0.04 W/mK), which makes it an effective thermal insulator. Its acoustic properties come from the way its cellular structure absorbs sound – cork absorbs sound waves and reduces their reflection. The material is anti-static and does not build up electrical charge.
Cork pads are placed directly under the surface to be protected or under a furniture leg. They do not need to be glued – the weight of the item holds them in place. For vertical surfaces or surfaces where movement is likely, double-sided mounting tape can be used. Cork does not leave marks on the surface and can be repositioned many times.
Cork pads require no special maintenance. If they become dirty, simply wipe them with a damp cloth. Natural cork retains its properties over many years of use – it does not dry out, lose elasticity or degrade under normal domestic conditions. The material withstands temperatures from -20°C to +80°C, so it can be used both indoors and in sheltered outdoor areas.
Under prolonged load, cork may flatten slightly, which is normal for elastic materials and does not affect its protective function. Once the load is removed, the structure partly returns to its original shape.
