Cylindrical rotary rasp for woodworking, enlarging holes and chamfering edges. Made from #45 carbon steel with an oxidised finish, designed for use with power tools with an M14 thread.
A material with a carbon content of 0.42-0.50% provides suitable hardness of the cutting edges while retaining impact resistance. The #45 designation indicates a medium-carbon structural steel used in woodworking tools.
The blackened surface is the result of an oxidation process that creates a protective layer against corrosion. It protects the tool when working with damp wood and extends its service life in storage.
A mounting standard compatible with most angle grinders and impact drills. Before purchase, check the spindle thread on your power tool – M14 is the most common size on 115-125 mm tools.
The maximum permissible working speed determines the safe operating parameters. At a diameter of 30 mm it corresponds to a linear speed of approximately 11.8 m/s. Exceeding this value may lead to damage to the tool.

Before fitting, check that the M14 thread matches your power tool. Fit the rasp with the power switched off, tightening it with a spanner suitable for the type of tool. Personal protective equipment must be worn during work: safety glasses, work gloves and hearing protection.
Do not exceed the maximum speed of 12,500 rpm. When working with hard wood, reduce the speed by 20-30% and feed the tool in gradually. Excessive pressure causes overheating and faster blunting of the cutting edges.
After finishing work, remove sawdust with a wire brush and protect the working surface with a thin layer of machine oil. Storing in a dry place prevents corrosion despite the oxidised finish. Regularly check the condition of the thread and cutting edges.
