Extended-length six-point socket with a 1/2" drive for working with deeply recessed bolts and nuts. Made from CRV chrome vanadium steel with heat treatment that increases wear resistance.
The longer socket body allows work in recessed mounting points where standard sockets cannot reach. Particularly useful for bolts set in wheel recesses, machinery or steel structures.
The chrome and vanadium alloy combines hardness with resistance to cracking. Vanadium increases the strength of the material structure, which translates into a longer tool life under regular use.
The hardening and tempering process gives the steel the right surface hardness while maintaining core elasticity. It protects against deformation and premature wear of the working edges.
The matt chrome layer increases corrosion resistance and makes cleaning easier. The chrome-plated surface reduces friction when fitting the socket onto a fastener.

The socket works with 1/2" ratchets, breaker bars, torque wrenches and extensions. Before purchase, check that your wrench or ratchet has a 1/2" (12.7 mm) square drive. The 1/2" standard is used for medium-to-heavy work, providing torque of up to approximately 200-250 Nm depending on the drive tool.
The socket's internal six-point profile transfers force to the flat surfaces of the nut or bolt head, minimising the risk of damage to the corners. It provides better contact than a 12-point profile, particularly with worn or corroded fasteners. The 16 mm size corresponds to bolts and nuts marked M10 in the metric system.
