Door Frame Spreader 555–1015 mm G31004 GEKO
Telescopic spreader designed to stabilise door frames during installation. It holds the set spacing between the sides of the frame while the frame is levelled, adjusted and the gap is filled with expanding foam, removing the risk of the frame deforming under the pressure of the expanding foam.

Telescopic design with a 555–1015 mm range
The two-part metal tube allows the spreader length to be quickly pre-set to the width of the door frame. The 555–1015 mm range covers the typical widths of interior door frames used in residential and commercial construction.
Adjustment knobs at both pads
Independent fine adjustment at each end allows the pressure on the frame to be set precisely and the position of the spreader to be corrected once it is already in place between the sides of the frame — without having to remove the tool.
Wide contact surfaces
The elongated plastic pads spread the clamping force over a larger section of the frame profile. This reduces the risk of localised deformation or scratching of the frame surface during installation.
Protection against deformation when foaming
As it expands, the foam exerts considerable pressure on the sides of the frame, which can pull them inwards. The spreader keeps the two vertical members at a parallel spacing throughout the foam's curing time.

Matching the spreader to the frame width
Before use, measure the internal spacing between the sides of the frame at the point where the spreader is to be fitted. The 555–1015 mm range matches the typical clear widths of door openings within the frame: from narrow bathroom doors (approx. 60 cm clear opening) to standard room doors (80–90 cm clear opening). If in doubt, it is worth measuring the spacing at several points along the height — any discrepancies may indicate that the frame is out of true and requires correcting before foaming.
