A 12-piece set of double-ended open-ended spanners made from chrome vanadium (CrV) steel, covering sizes from 6×7 to 30×32 mm. The double-ended design lets you work with two sizes using a single tool, which reduces the number of spanners needed in a set and cuts down the time spent searching for the right size on the job.
CrV alloy offers greater hardness and resistance to deformation under load than carbon steel. The spanners keep their jaw geometry even after repeated use at high tightening torque.
Each spanner has two open ends of different sizes. As a result, 12 spanners give you access to 24 sizes, which is particularly practical in confined working areas or when working on the move.
The set covers sizes from 6 to 32 mm with no gaps across the range of standard metric fasteners. It takes in both the small bolts found in electronics and precision mechanisms and the large nuts found in steel structures and machinery.
The pairing of sizes (e.g. 6×7, 8×9, 10×11) matches the standard combinations used in DIN metric standards. This lets you build a tool kit for typical service and assembly tasks without having to buy individual spanners separately.

The set includes a separate 20×22 spanner and a 21×23 spanner. The 21 mm size is less common in standard sets, but it does appear in fasteners used on some agricultural machinery, commercial vehicles and industrial equipment. Having both spanners in the set removes the need to source them separately.
An open-ended spanner transmits torque through two faces of the nut or bolt head, which makes it particularly useful in confined spaces where a ring spanner cannot complete a full turn. Bear in mind, however, that open-ended spanners are more prone to slipping off the bolt head than ring spanners — especially on worn or rounded fasteners. Always choose a spanner that fits the nut size exactly, and avoid extending the handle with a pipe, as this can exceed the strength of the tool.
After use, clean the spanners of dirt and oil, then store them in a dry place. Applying a thin film of mineral oil at regular intervals protects the surface against corrosion, particularly when the tools are stored in damp workshop conditions.
