Vorel 54871 double pipe clips are used to secure installation pipes to concrete, brick and plastered surfaces without the need for separate wall plugs. The integrated drive-in pin is hammered directly into the hole, which shortens the time needed to run services. The HDPE material provides resistance to moisture and a wide operating temperature range.

Integrated drive-in pin
The 10 mm diameter, 75 mm long pin is supplied with the clip and is hammered directly into the prepared mounting hole (8 mm diameter). This removes the need for separate wall plugs and speeds up work when installing multiple fixing points.
Double pipe support
The double design stabilises the pipe at two support points, limiting sideways movement and vibration. This solution is used in particular for pipes subject to pressure or temperature changes that cause linear expansion.
HDPE material resistant to external factors
High-density polyethylene does not corrode and does not react with water or typical installation media. The –40 to +110°C operating range means the clips can be used in central heating systems as well as in cold rooms and outdoor installations.
Wide compatibility with pipe types

Applications
Vorel 54871 double pipe clips are designed for securing pipes in indoor and outdoor installations. They are suitable for the following applications:

How to check compatibility
Before buying, measure the outside diameter of the pipe (not the nominal inside diameter). The Vorel 54871 clip accommodates pipes with an outside diameter of 15 to 28 mm. For multilayer pipes, allow for any insulation — if the pipe is insulated, measure the diameter including the insulation. The substrate must allow an 8 mm diameter hole at least 75 mm deep (the length of the pin) to be drilled.
Installation
Fitting the clip is a three-step process: drill an 8 mm diameter hole in the substrate, place the clip in the hole, then hammer in the supplied 10 mm diameter pin, which expands in the hole and locks the clip in place. This method does not require a hammer drill with a wall plug bit or any additional fixings — a drill with a concrete or brick bit and a hammer to drive in the pin are all that is needed.
When running horizontal installations, the clip spacing should follow the pipe manufacturer's requirements or the installation design — typically every 50–100 cm for plastic pipes, depending on the medium temperature and pipe diameter.
