A hand tool for precise trimming and finishing of the edges of edge-banded panels. Fitted with two blade types — straight blades for standard cutting and bevelled blades for creating bevels.
The trimmer is fitted with two independent blade sets, which removes the need to change tools during work. One set is used for standard trimming and the other for bevelling edges at an angle.
This parameter defines the maximum thickness of material the tool can work with. It covers typical furniture boards of 16 mm, 18 mm and 22 mm thickness together with the edge banding applied.
Used for standard trimming of overhanging edge banding or laminate along the edge of the board. It produces a cut perpendicular to the surface, with no bevelling.
Intended for bevelling edges — cutting bevels at an angle, which prevents chipping and gives the finish a professional appearance. Particularly useful with HPL laminates.

Measure the thickness of the board together with the edge banding applied. If the total thickness falls within the 13-25 mm range, the tool will work correctly. With boards thinner than 13 mm, the trimmer may not press the material firmly enough.
Before starting work, make sure the edge banding has been applied evenly and the material is firmly attached to the edge of the board. The trimmer is guided along the edge with light pressure, keeping a constant angle to the surface.
Blades should be replaced when the cut becomes untidy or requires more pressure. A blunt blade can cause the edge banding to delaminate or leave uneven edges. The spare set of blades supplied with the kit ensures continuity of work without the need to buy replacements immediately.
After finishing work, clean the tool of any adhesive residue and wood chips. Storing it in a dry place prevents corrosion of the mechanism and keeps the blades in good condition.
