The KD10625 drill stand is a mechanical guide designed to hold handheld power drills. It allows accurate vertical and angled drilling without the need to buy a stationary pillar drill. The twin-column design keeps the tool steady as it is guided, and the adjustable depth stop makes it possible to drill repeat holes to the same depth.

Twin-column guide with protractor scale
The swivelling guide runs on two columns and keeps the drill steady as it moves vertically. The built-in angle scale lets you set the tilt anywhere within ±45°, with detents at 15°, 30° and 45° — useful when drilling angled joints in wood or metal.
Stepless depth stop
The adjustable stop sets the maximum drilling depth and holds it throughout a run of repeat work. It removes the need to measure the depth of every hole and reduces the risk of drilling right through the material.
V-groove in the base
The V-shaped groove built into the base plate holds round material securely for drilling — rods, tubes or shafts — with no risk of the workpiece slipping during the job.
Centring device and repeat stop
The base has a centring mechanism that helps position the workpiece accurately in line with the drilling axis. The repeat stop allows holes to be drilled at equal intervals time after time without further measuring.
How do I check compatibility with my drill?
The KD10625 stand fits drills with a collar (neck) measuring 38–43 mm across. Before buying, measure the diameter of the cylindrical part of the drill directly behind the chuck. Most compact hammer drills and standard drills rated 500–1000 W fall within this range. Drills with a collar smaller than 38 mm or larger than 43 mm need an adapter or will not fit this stand.

Operation and assembly
Before first use, fix the base of the stand to a stable surface (workbench or bench) with four screws through the holes in the base plate. This stops the stand moving during work and makes the tool safer to operate. The drill is placed in the collar mount and secured with an additional clamp that prevents it from slipping.
Before setting the drilling angle, release the swivel lock on the guide, set the required angle against the scale, then tighten the lock. The depth stop is set by sliding it into position and locking it at the chosen value — drilling a trial hole in a piece of scrap is recommended to confirm the settings before starting repeat work.
