KD1563 Electric Winch — 8000 lbs / 3629 kg, 12V
A 12V electric winch designed for towing, recovering vehicles from difficult terrain and handling jobs on building sites and in workshops. The unit is fitted with a 3 kW motor, a three-stage planetary gearbox and a dual control system — wired and wireless.
Technical features
3 kW induction motor
The 3 kW motor delivers enough torque to work at full load without the risk of the mechanism stalling. The 12V supply allows direct connection to the vehicle battery — no external power source is required. The recommended minimum battery rating is 650 CCA.
Three-stage planetary gearbox
The planetary gearbox with a 195.8:1 ratio, made from high-grade steel, converts the motor speed into slow, controlled rope winding while maintaining full pulling capacity. The three-stage design spreads the load across more components, which reduces wear and extends the service life of the mechanism.
Automatic in-drum brake
The brake, integrated directly into the winding drum, engages automatically when the control is released — it prevents the rope from paying out on its own under load. This is important when working on slopes and when suspending a load on the rope.
Dual control system
The wired remote with a 3.7 m cable lets you operate the winch from a safe distance away from the tensioned rope. The wireless remote with a 30 m range allows control without having to walk back to the vehicle or load — useful in hard-to-reach terrain or when working alone.
8.1 mm steel rope, 28 m
The 8.1 mm diameter, 28 m long steel rope is supplied with the kit and factory-wound onto the drum. The steel construction holds its shape under load, but protective gloves must be worn during work — loose strands can cause cuts.
Hook with safety latch and fairlead
The end hook fitted with a latch prevents the load from accidentally coming unhooked during pulling operations. The fairlead keeps the rope winding evenly onto the drum, which prevents overlapping turns and uneven loading of the rope.
