Empty Tool Cabinet KD1070 — 7-Drawer Workshop Roller Cabinet
The KD1070 is a steel workshop roller cabinet from Kraft&Dele, fitted with 7 ball-bearing drawers and a lockable two-tier compartment. It is designed to keep tools organised in the garage, car workshop and production plant — supplied empty and ready to be set up to suit your own requirements.
Product features
Ball-bearing drawers with individual locking
The ball-bearing runners ensure smooth extension even under full load. Each drawer has its own locking mechanism to stop it sliding open accidentally while the cabinet is being moved. Six drawers are 5 cm high, while the seventh is deeper at 19 cm and is intended for larger tools or accessories.
EVA foam lining
The inside of every drawer is lined with soft EVA foam, which protects tools from scratches and damps vibration as the cabinet is moved. The material stays flexible across a wide temperature range, which matters in unheated garages and production halls.
Steel worktop resistant to chemicals and temperature
The worktop is made from steel that resists chemicals and high temperatures. Mounting holes on both sides of the worktop allow a vice and additional accessories to be fitted, such as paper roll holders or small parts bins.
Swivel castors with brakes
Two swivel castors with automatic locking and brakes allow the cabinet to be moved freely and then firmly secured in the chosen position. The brakes keep it stable on slightly sloping surfaces as well, which reduces the risk of it rolling away uncontrolled.
Lockable two-tier compartment
The cabinet is fitted with a two-tier compartment that locks with a key (2 keys supplied). This is useful for storing measuring tools, consumables or other items that need to be protected from third-party access.

Use and maintenance
Before first use, check that the cabinet is stable on a level surface and that the castor brakes work correctly. The steel worktop should be wiped regularly with a dry or slightly damp cloth — avoid leaving aggressive solvents on it for longer than the job takes. The drawer runners can be greased periodically with a dedicated runner grease, which keeps the mechanism working smoothly for longer.
The cabinet is supplied empty — without tools or drawer organiser inserts. The EVA mats are factory-fitted in the drawers.
