Thumbturn Euro Cylinder 30/35 — Brushed Nickel (K02703)
A euro cylinder with a single internal thumbturn, designed for mortice locks in internal and external doors. The 30/35 mm size means the thumbturn side measures 30 mm and the key side 35 mm. The aluminium body with a ZnAl alloy mechanism ensures smooth operation in regular use.
Product features
Internal thumbturn instead of a key side
On the internal side, a rotating thumbturn is fitted instead of a keyway. This allows the door to be locked and unlocked without a key — a solution used in bathrooms, bedrooms and office rooms where entry from outside needs to be controlled while exit remains unrestricted.
Aluminium body
Aluminium is a lighter material than brass, yet still sufficiently resistant to everyday mechanical contact. The lightweight body does not place excessive load on the door leaf and makes fitting easier in standard roses and escutcheons.
ZnAl alloy mechanism

How to check the cylinder size before buying
The cylinder size is measured from the centre of the fixing screw to each end of the cylinder. In the 30/35 marking, 30 is the distance from the centre of the screw to the thumbturn side and 35 is the distance to the key side. Before replacing a cylinder, undo the fixing screw on the side edge of the door and withdraw the existing cylinder, then measure both halves with a vernier calliper or a ruler.
