The VOREL extension lead is basic equipment for the electrical installation in the home, office and workshop. Model 72508 offers three Schuko sockets with an earth pin and a five-metre mains lead in a white housing.
The sockets are fitted with a PE earth pin that diverts leakage current to the protective earthing system. Earthing provides basic protection against electric shock if the appliance's insulation is damaged. All three sockets allow Class I electrical equipment to be connected at the same time.
The five-metre cable allows appliances located away from a wall socket to be powered without the need for additional extension leads. The 5 m length is suitable for living rooms and offices, as well as for outdoor work in the vicinity of a building. The cable is made of copper, which ensures adequate electrical conductivity.
The housing, made from an insulating material, protects the internal conductive parts against mechanical damage and moisture. The white housing colour makes it easy to match the extension lead visually to light-coloured walls and furniture. The housing material meets the safety standards for electrical installation accessories.
VOREL is a brand of tools and technical accessories present on the European market. Extension leads from this brand are used in domestic and workshop applications. The manufacturer offers basic technical parameters that comply with the electrical safety standards in force in the European Union.

Before first use, check the technical condition of the housing and the plug – there should be no cracks or mechanical damage. The extension lead should only be connected to working earthed wall sockets. The maximum load of the extension lead depends on the conductor cross-section – domestic extension leads are typically rated for loads of up to 3500 W (16 A at 230 V). The permissible load must not be exceeded by connecting appliances with a high power draw.
The extension lead housing can be cleaned with a dry or slightly damp cloth after disconnecting it from the power supply. The extension lead must not be immersed in water or used in conditions of high humidity without a suitable IP rating. The cable should be stored in loose loops – coiling it to a small diameter may damage the insulation. The condition of the plug and sockets should be checked regularly – loose connections can cause the contacts to overheat.
An extension lead with Schuko sockets is compatible with Type E and F plugs used in Poland and most European countries. Appliances with Type C plugs (unearthed) can also be connected to Schuko sockets. Before connecting appliances with a high power draw, add up their rated power and make sure it does not exceed the permissible load of the extension lead.
