The KD10424 measuring tape is made from fibreglass and is designed for linear measurement over distances of up to 20 metres. As a tape material, fibreglass is resistant to stretching and does not conduct electricity, which matters when working near electrical installations. The housing has a non-slip rubber coating for a secure grip even in difficult weather conditions.
Fibreglass, unlike steel, does not conduct electricity — the tape can be used safely near electrical installations and live equipment. The material is corrosion-resistant and does not distort permanently with moisture.
The rubber coating on the housing increases friction between the hand and the tool, which reduces the risk of it slipping when working in gloves, with wet hands or at low temperatures.
The 20 m length covers measurements typical of construction and surveying work — setting out foundations, measuring plots and checking distances between structural elements. Tapes of this length are used where standard retractable tape measures (5–8 m) are not enough.
A Polish brand specialising in tools and equipment for construction and workshop use. Its products are available in a consistent model numbering system, which makes it easier to match accessories and spares.

Fibreglass tapes are lighter than steel tapes and do not rust, but they may stretch slightly more under load, which should be taken into account for measurements requiring high precision. Steel measuring tapes keep greater longitudinal rigidity, but are prone to corrosion in damp conditions and conduct electricity.
