Technical features of the fixed castor
Fixed design with no swivel
A fixed castor travels in one direction only, which ensures a predictable path of travel and stability during transport. This solution is used together with swivel castors – typically two fixed castors at the rear and two swivel castors at the front.
Polypropylene housing
Polypropylene is resistant to moisture, chemicals and low temperatures. The material leaves no marks on surfaces, which matters in office and retail premises. The weight of the castor is reduced while structural strength is maintained.
Ball bearings
Ball bearings reduce friction during rolling, which translates into less resistance when moving loaded structures. This solution ensures smooth movement and extends the service life of the castor under regular use.
