Professional flat-head screwdriver with an S2 steel shank hardened to 58 HRC. A tool designed for assembly work that demands precision and durability.
S2 alloy steel is characterised by an elevated silicon and chromium content, which provides resistance to twisting and wear. Hardening to 58 HRC (Rockwell C) means increased resistance to deformation while retaining sufficient flexibility to prevent cracking.
The satin-finishing process creates a matt, smooth, corrosion-resistant surface. It protects against rust in workshop conditions and makes it easier to keep the tool clean when working in contaminated environments.
Additional sandblasting of the tip increases surface roughness, which improves grip in the screw slot. Localised hardening of the tip minimises wear and deformation during intensive use.
A construction using plastics of varying hardness ensures a secure grip and comfort during prolonged work. The harder elements provide stability, while the softer ones absorb vibration and deliver anti-slip properties.

A tip width of 6 mm suits screws with a slot width of 5.5–6.5 mm. Correct tool selection prevents damage to the slot and ensures full transfer of torque. A tip length of 38 mm allows work in confined spaces.
Before starting work, check the condition of the tip – a damaged tip can slip out of the screw slot. When tightening, the screwdriver should be held perpendicular to the screw head to ensure even distribution of force.
After use, wipe the shank clean of dirt with a dry cloth. If it comes into contact with corrosive substances, wiping it with a protective agent is recommended. The handle can be cleaned with a damp cloth – avoid solvents that may damage the plastic.
Storing the tool in a dry place, in a tool organiser or on a workshop pegboard prevents mechanical damage and extends tool life.
