A flat woven webbing sling with a working load limit of 3 tonnes and a length of 3 metres, made from polyester fibre. Certified to EN 1492-1 and designed for the safe lifting and transport of heavy loads in construction, logistics and industry.
The two-ply webbing structure increases mechanical strength and resistance to cuts and punctures. The additional layer of material distributes the load and reduces the risk of damage to the load-bearing fibres in use.
The reinforced loops at the ends of the sling allow a secure connection to hooks, fittings or other items of lifting gear. The loop design removes the need for additional connectors.
Polyester fibre is resistant to moisture, oils, mineral acids, coolants and petrol vapour. This is important in industrial environments where the sling comes into contact with chemicals during use.
Compliance with the European standard EN 1492-1 and the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC confirms that the safety requirements for textile slings are met. The product carries the required markings and documentation.

Before every use, check the condition of the sling: no scuffing, cuts or excessive stretching of the webbing, and no damage to the loops. A sling with visible damage must not be used. Check that the markings showing the working load limit and serial number are legible.
A looped webbing sling can be used in a straight (vertical) hitch, a choker hitch or a multi-leg configuration. When choosing the lifting method, take the angle of the legs into account – the greater the angle from vertical, the lower the actual working load limit. At an angle of 60° the working load limit falls to around 50% of the nominal value.
Store the sling in a dry, shaded place, away from heat sources and corrosive substances. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct UV radiation. After use in damp conditions or contact with chemicals, clean and dry the sling.
Under health and safety regulations, webbing slings must be inspected at intervals by a competent person. The frequency of inspection depends on how intensively the sling is used – at least once a year, or more often in severe conditions. Record the results of inspections in the lifting equipment inspection log.
