A flexible chrome vanadium steel key for Torx socket screws, fitted with an articulating joint that allows work at angles of up to 220 degrees. The tool is designed for fasteners in hard-to-reach locations where standard straight keys do not provide adequate access.
The joint allows the working tips to be set at an angle of up to 220 degrees to each other. This solution makes it possible to work in places where access to the screw is restricted by other parts of the assembly. The joint remains stable under load, eliminating play during tightening.
CrV material is characterised by increased resistance to abrasion and plastic deformation. The addition of vanadium increases the hardness of the steel while maintaining sufficient elasticity, which minimises the risk of cracking when working with high torques. The satin finish protects against corrosion.
The Torx socket is a six-point star profile used in fasteners that require precise transmission of torque. Sizes T55 and T60 correspond to inscribed socket diameters of 11.27 mm and 13.31 mm. This profile reduces the risk of damaging the screw compared with standard hex heads.
The overall length of the key provides adequate leverage when tightening screws and makes it possible to reach components located deep within an assembly. The proportions of the tool allow a comfortable grip and control of torque during work.

Before starting work, check that the size of the tip matches the socket of the screw. The Torx profile is available in many sizes designated by the letter T and a number. Using a key that does not fit will damage the screw socket and make it impossible to remove the screw.
When tightening at an angle, make sure that the tip of the key is fully seated in the screw socket. The joint transmits loads differently from a straight key, so tightening force should be increased in a controlled manner. For tightening torques that exceed the capabilities of a flexible key, a torque wrench should be used.
After finishing work, clean the key of dirt and lubricant residues. The joint mechanism requires periodic lubrication with lithium grease to maintain smooth movement and protect against corrosion. The tool should be stored in a dry place, avoiding contact with moisture.
