A C-type G-clamp with a 2-inch jaw opening, designed for holding and clamping components during workshop, welding and assembly work. The malleable cast iron body with a steel screw provides stable clamping pressure when machining and joining materials.
Malleable cast iron offers higher impact and bending strength than standard grey cast iron. The additional ribbing increases the rigidity of the frame, eliminating flex under load, which translates into precise clamping.
A3 steel is a structural steel with good machinability and strength. The specially cut thread ensures smooth tightening with minimal effort and even distribution of clamping force. A trapezoidal or square thread reduces friction and increases the durability of the mechanism.
The ball joint allows the pressure pad to adapt to uneven or angled material surfaces. The captive design improves safety at work and eliminates the risk of losing the pad during clamping.
Powder coating creates an even, scratch-resistant finish that protects the clamp from corrosion in workshop conditions. The technology offers better adhesion and durability than traditional painting.

A 2" (50.8 mm) opening is the maximum thickness of material that can be placed between the jaws of the clamp. In practice, a safety margin should be left – the clamp works best at loads of up to 80-90% of its maximum opening. For materials thicker than 40 mm, it is worth considering a clamp with a larger opening.
Before first use, check that the clamping screw moves smoothly and that the pressure pad is in good condition. The screw thread requires periodic lubrication with lithium or graphite grease, which ensures smooth tightening and extends the life of the mechanism.
Do not exceed the maximum opening during use or fit additional lever extensions – this can damage the thread or crack the body. After use, release the clamp to relieve the thread and joint.
Protect the clamp body from impacts that could crack the cast iron. When working in damp conditions or with materials that cause corrosion, more frequent cleaning and maintenance of the protective finish are recommended.
