Features of 80×2.8 mm Coil Nails
Galvanised coating
The zinc layer protects against corrosion in environments with elevated humidity. This solution is used in roof structures exposed to variable weather conditions and in outdoor applications.
Coil format with collating wire
The nails are joined by 0.75 mm wire at an angle of 15°-16°. The construction enables automatic feeding in pneumatic nail guns, removing the need to reload manually after every shot.
Shank parameters 80×2.8 mm
A length of 80 mm with a diameter of 2.8 mm ensures a secure joint between timber components with a combined thickness of up to 60-65 mm. A head diameter of 6.6-7.1 mm (±0.25 mm) guarantees adequate clamping of the material.

Use and maintenance
Coil nails should be stored in a dry room, protected from moisture. Despite the galvanised coating, prolonged exposure to water before installation may reduce the effectiveness of the anti-corrosion protection.
Before loading a coil into the nail gun, check that the collating wire is not damaged. Deformations in the wire can cause jams in the feed mechanism. When working in sub-zero temperatures, it is advisable to store the nails at room temperature until use.
When fixing into hardwood (oak, ash), it may be necessary to increase the pressure in the nail gun in accordance with the tool manufacturer's recommendations. Insufficient pressure results in incomplete nail driving, which weakens the joint.
