A spiral mixing paddle made from galvanised steel, designed for preparing paints, adhesives, masonry mortars and filler compounds. The galvanised coating provides corrosion resistance when working with materials of alkaline and acidic pH.
The zinc coating protects the paddle surface against chemical corrosion on contact with building materials of varying pH. The zinc layer protects the steel against oxidation even during prolonged storage in damp conditions.
The 100 mm diameter represents a compromise between mixing performance and the load on the drill motor. This parameter determines the container diameter - the paddle is well suited to buckets from 10 to 20 litres, ensuring effective circulation of the material.
The 600 mm length allows mixing in standard builder's buckets without the risk of the drill chuck being submerged in the material. It provides a safe distance between the material and the power tool, which is important when working with cement mortars.
The standard 1/2" (12.7 mm) hex shank fits SDS-plus quick-release chucks and standard drill chucks. The hex system transfers torque without slipping, which prevents damage to the chuck when mixing thick compounds.

A mixing paddle with a 100 mm diameter requires a drill with a minimum power of 800 W. The recommended speed is 400-600 rpm for mortars and adhesives and 300-400 rpm for thick filler compounds. Higher speeds aerate the material and reduce its properties.
Clean the paddle immediately after finishing work, before the material sets. Cement mortars are washed off with water and oil-based paints with solvent. Residues of hardened material are removed mechanically with a wire brush. After washing, dry the paddle to prevent corrosion where the zinc coating has been damaged.
The 1/2" hex shank fits hammer and non-hammer drills with a keyless chuck, as well as paddle mixers. Before fitting, check that the drill chuck accepts hex shanks - some models require an SDS-plus to hex adaptor.
