A 1-inch (25 mm) garden hose with 4-layer construction and cross-braided reinforcement. A Polish-made product designed for intensive use in both domestic and professional settings.
Construction features
4-layer construction
The white inner layer (core) prevents algae build-up, the black middle layer provides UV protection, the cross-woven polyester braid increases mechanical strength, and the outer cover protects against damage. The multi-layer construction prevents the hose from kinking during use.
Cross-braided reinforcement
The cross-woven polyester braid provides resistance to stretching and bursting at pressures of up to 24 bar. This allows safe use with pressure pumps and garden pressure washers up to mid-range power.
UV and temperature resistance
The outer material, with added UV stabilisers, prevents cracking and hardening during exposure to sunlight. An operating range of -10°C to +60°C means the hose can be left outside throughout the season without the risk of damage during light frosts.
Safe material composition
Free from cadmium, barium, lead and phthalates, the product meets safety standards for products in contact with drinking water. It can be used to water vegetables and herbs without any risk of contamination.

What the 1-inch diameter means
A 1" (25 mm) diameter delivers a water flow of around 30-40 litres per minute at standard mains pressure of 3-4 bar. This is sufficient for efficient watering of medium and large gardens, and for supplying 2-3 sprinklers at once. A larger diameter than the popular 1/2" or 3/4" hoses shortens watering time while remaining convenient to use.
Use and maintenance
Before first use, flush the hose with water for a few minutes. After use, drain the hose of water and store it in a shaded place, wound onto a reel or hanger – this prevents permanent kinks. Despite its resistance to low temperatures, the hose should be stored during winter in an unheated room or a garage.
A maximum pressure of 24 bar means safe operation with typical domestic systems (2-6 bar) and with most hobby and semi-professional pressure washers. Do not exceed this value, as doing so may damage the reinforcement structure.
Connector compatibility
A 1" diameter hose requires 1-inch quick-release connectors or hose clips. Before buying accessories, check that the connector system you already have is suited to this diameter – otherwise reducing adaptors will be needed.
