Set of four Morse-type locking pliers in sizes from 125 mm to 250 mm. These tools are designed for clamping and holding components during workshop, welding and hydraulic work.
Hardened C45 carbon steel combines high compressive strength with good ductility. Heat treatment increases the surface hardness of the jaws, which prevents deformation when clamping irregularly shaped components.
The lower jaw is fitted with a self-gripping mechanism that automatically increases clamping force as the load rises. This eliminates the risk of the grip loosening during work, particularly in welding operations.
The adjusting screw allows the jaw opening to be matched precisely to the material thickness. The mechanism allows settings to be changed quickly without fully opening the tool.
The release lever opens the jaws instantly with a single movement. This mechanism shortens the time needed to change the clamped component and reduces fatigue during repeated use.

The 125 mm size is used for precision work on small components up to 15 mm thick. The 170 mm pliers are suitable for standard workshop tasks with materials up to 25 mm thick. The 190 mm size is designed for clamping medium-sized structural components and pipes up to 40 mm in diameter. The largest 250 mm pliers are used for heavy welding and assembly work with steel profiles up to 60 mm in cross-section.
Before use, check the condition of the self-gripping mechanism and that the release lever moves freely. Set the adjusting screw to the appropriate jaw opening before clamping the component. Once the pliers are closed on the material, the self-gripping mechanism automatically increases the clamping force.
The jaws and moving mechanisms require periodic lubrication with lithium grease. Remove dirt and welding spatter after every use. The hardened jaw surface does not require additional protection, but contact with aggressive chemicals can cause corrosion of the Q235 steel in the handles.
Morse-type locking pliers are not a substitute for a fixed bench vice for prolonged machining operations requiring high precision. Do not use the tool as a hammer or a lever. Exceeding the maximum material thickness for a given plier size may damage the self-gripping mechanism.
