GEKO G32056 PH1 x 100 mm Strike-Through Phillips Screwdriver
A Phillips screwdriver with a reinforced strike-through construction that allows it to be struck with a hammer. Intended for Phillips PH1 cross-head screws, it is made from chrome vanadium (CrV) steel.
Technical features
Reinforced strike-through construction
The specially reinforced shank and handle construction allow the screwdriver to be struck with a hammer without risk of damaging the tool. This is useful when removing seized or corroded screws, where a standard screwdriver would not be sufficient.
Chrome vanadium CrV steel
CrV material offers increased hardness and wear resistance compared with ordinary tool steels. The addition of vanadium improves mechanical strength, while chromium improves corrosion resistance, resulting in a longer tool life.
Contoured fluted handle
Special flutes on the handle provide a secure grip and prevent the tool from slipping out of your hand during use. The two-tone construction (black and blue) makes the tool easy to identify visually in a tool kit.
Tip type marking
A clear marking on the handle indicates the tip type and size (PH1), so you can quickly select the right tool without having to check whether it fits the screw.

What does the PH1 size mean?
The PH1 designation defines the size of the Phillips cross-head recess according to the Phillips standard. PH1 is the second smallest size on this scale, typically used for screws with a diameter of 2.1–3.0 mm. Only PH0 (for precision work) is smaller than PH1; the larger sizes are PH2 (the most popular), PH3 and PH4. It is worth checking your screw sizes before buying – a screwdriver that does not fit correctly can damage the screw recess.

When should the striking function be used?
Hammer striking is used when a screw is firmly seized by corrosion, dried adhesive or over-tightening. Gentle blows help to loosen the joint and make it easier to undo. This technique requires care – blows that are too hard can damage the thread or the material in which the screw is seated.
