A 2-inch diameter, 30-metre woven layflat delivery hose designed for pumping clean water, dirty water and waste. Supplied with a complete set of fire hose couplings for immediate connection to petrol and electric pumps.
The woven structure with reinforced synthetic fibres resists abrasion and mechanical damage during use in demanding site conditions. The hose remains flexible when coiled and uncoiled.
This is the maximum safe pressure during normal operation. At 8 bar (800 kPa) it is sufficient for most applications with pumps delivering up to 1200 l/min at this diameter.
A three-fold safety factor relative to the working pressure gives resistance to momentary pressure surges when the pump starts or the flow is shut off.
The set of two couplings with seals allows tool-free fitting. The fire hose coupling system is a proven standard that ensures a tight seal and lets hoses be joined into sections repeatedly.

A 2-inch diameter is standard on pumps delivering 400-1200 l/min. Before buying, check the diameter of the pump outlet. Most petrol and electric dirty water pumps have a 2" outlet or a reducing adaptor. A 30-metre length is sufficient for most domestic and construction applications.
The pump's pressure data can be found in its operating manual. A working pressure of 8 bar corresponds to a head of around 80 metres of water, which exceeds the capability of typical portable pumps. The hose is suitable for standard pump applications.
Flush the hose with clean water before first use. During operation, avoid twisting and kinking, which restrict the flow and can damage the structure. Once you have finished, drain the hose, especially before storing it at temperatures below 0°C.
Store in a dry place protected from direct sunlight. Check the condition of the coupling seals regularly and replace them at the first signs of wear. Avoid contact with sharp edges and aggressive chemicals that may damage the material.
After handling waste, flush the hose with clean water. Periodically inspect the surface for scuffing and mechanical damage. A woven hose needs gentler handling than rubber versions, but it is lighter and easier to store.
