GEKO G73031 1/2" Hose Connector with Water Stop
A component of a quick-connect garden hose system with a built-in shut-off valve. It allows the hose to be connected and disconnected without turning the water off at the tap.
Technical features
Built-in shut-off valve
The water stop automatically blocks the water flow once the fitting is disconnected from the hose. It removes the need to turn off the tap every time you change a nozzle or disconnect a spray gun.
1/2" diameter
A standard size that fits most garden hoses on the market. The 13 mm internal diameter delivers a flow of around 12–15 litres per minute at standard mains water pressure.
Quick-connect system
The quick-connect mechanism allows connection and disconnection without tools. Simply push the male fitting into the female one and wait for the click that confirms it is locked.
BLUE LINE range

Fitting and use
How to fit the connector to the hose
The connector is pushed onto the end of a garden hose with a 13 mm (1/2") internal diameter. The connection is secured with a screw clip or a hose clip. Before fitting, cut the hose squarely and without crushing it.
How the shut-off valve works
Once the end fitting (spray gun, sprinkler) is disconnected, an internal spring mechanism stops the water flow. When the fitting is reconnected, the water stop opens automatically and restores the flow. This prevents water from spilling and allows accessories to be changed without turning off the tap.
Compatibility
The connector works with all 1/2" quick-connect system components. Check that your fittings have a suitable male connector. Adapters for other standards can be bought separately if needed.
