S1P Safety Sandals GEKO G90543-41, Size 41
S1P category safety footwear with a metal toe cap and penetration-resistant insert, made from cowhide leather. The sandal-style design keeps the foot ventilated during work at elevated temperatures.
Technical Features
S1P Safety Category
The S1P designation indicates footwear with a closed heel area, a toe cap resistant to a 200 J impact, antistatic properties, energy absorption in the heel and additional penetration resistance in the sole (P). No waterproof membrane — the design is intended for work in dry environments.
Steel Toe Cap and Penetration-Resistant Insert
The steel toe cap protects the toes against impact and crushing in accordance with the standard (200 J). A metal penetration-resistant insert in the sole protects the foot against penetration by sharp objects at forces of up to 1100 N — a solution used in construction and industry.
Two-Layer Polyurethane Sole
The sole is made from PU polyurethane in two densities — the harder outer layer provides abrasion resistance, while the softer inner layer absorbs shock. The SRC slip resistance rating (tested on ceramic and steel flooring with glycerine and detergent solution) confirms grip in a range of conditions.
Breathable Sandal Design
The open sandal-style upper with breathable multi-layer fabric in the lining ensures air circulation. The sole, made from breathable mesh knit fabric, wicks away moisture. The design is intended for work at temperatures above 20°C, where closed footwear causes excessive foot perspiration.

Use and Maintenance
Checking Compliance with Workplace Requirements

Insole Replacement and Maintenance
The EVA insole is replaceable — replacing it regularly every 3–6 months (depending on intensity of use) restores its cushioning properties. Clean the cowhide leather with a damp cloth and avoid soaking the whole shoe. Dry at room temperature, away from radiators.
Antistatic Properties
The antistatic (ESD) designation indicates electrical resistance in the range of 0.1–1000 MΩ, which prevents the build-up of electrostatic charge. The property lasts for the entire service life, provided the sole is kept clean and does not come into contact with insulating substances.
