An electronic voltage regulator designed specifically for the GEKO T05008 generator. This component stabilises the output electrical parameters and protects connected appliances against voltage fluctuations.
The AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulator) maintains a constant output voltage regardless of load and variations in engine speed. It stabilises the voltage within ±5% of the nominal value, protecting connected equipment against damage.
The regulator is designed around the electrical and mechanical parameters of the GEKO T05008 generator. Dedicated connectors and mounting dimensions allow direct installation with no need for adaptation or modification.
Built-in protection circuits monitor the load and the operating temperature. If the permissible values are exceeded, the regulator limits the excitation current, protecting the alternator against thermal damage.
The electronic control circuit responds to load changes in real time, adjusting the excitation current of the alternator. This eliminates voltage drops when switching on appliances with a high start-up current draw.

Before purchase, verify the generator model number on the rating plate. The CT05008-16-14 regulator is compatible only with the GEKO T05008 generator. Use in other models may result in incorrect operation or damage to the equipment. If in doubt, consult the generator's technical documentation or an authorised service centre.
Replacing the regulator requires disconnecting the generator from the fuel supply and waiting for the engine to cool down. Before starting work, disconnect all appliances and switch off the generator. The regulator is fitted inside the alternator housing, with the wires connected according to the wiring diagram. Correct installation is verified by measuring the output voltage at different load levels.
Installation of the regulator should be entrusted to personnel with experience in servicing generators. Incorrect connection of the wires may damage the alternator or the regulator. After replacement, carry out a load test, checking voltage stability at 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% of the generator's rated power.
Indications that the regulator needs replacing include: output voltage fluctuations exceeding ±10%, no voltage with the engine running, flickering of lights connected to the generator, voltage loss under load, or an inability to maintain stable parameters. Diagnosis should begin with a voltage measurement using a multimeter at different loads.
