A hammer drill with a 1700 W motor, designed for drilling into building materials such as concrete, brick and stone, as well as wood and metal. It has two operating modes — drilling and hammer action — plus a reverse rotation function, which extends its range of applications to removing screws and freeing jammed drill bits.
The high motor power translates into effective drilling in hard building materials — concrete and brick do not require excessive pressure, which reduces fatigue during prolonged use.
The mode selector lets you choose either drilling alone (for wood, metal and plastics) or hammer drilling (for concrete and stone). The hammer action generates additional axial impacts that make it easier to break through hard surfaces.
The reverse function allows you to remove screws and bolts and to free jammed drill bits without the need for additional tools. Useful for assembly and dismantling work.
A chuck made of metal is more resistant to mechanical deformation than plastic alternatives, which matters during intensive use and when working with larger-diameter drill bits.
The tool's lightweight construction reduces fatigue when drilling overhead or in hard-to-reach places. The shape of the grip allows for a firm hold both when working one-handed and when using the additional side handle.

For drilling into concrete and brick, use drill bits with a tungsten carbide tip (masonry drill bits) and switch on the hammer mode. For wood and metal, switch off the hammer action and use bits designed for the material in question — using the hammer action on these materials can damage the drill bit or the material being drilled.
