An electric device for the thermal destruction of weeds that works by heating plant tissue to a temperature that breaks down cell structures. Powered from a 230V mains supply, it eliminates the need for chemical herbicides.
Features
Thermal destruction method
The device generates a stream of hot air that causes protein denaturation and the breakdown of cell membranes in plant tissue. Weeds die within 1-2 days of exposure to the high temperature, without leaving chemical residues in the soil.
Two-stage temperature control
The first stage (50°C) is intended for delicate work such as defrosting pipes or drying surfaces. The second stage (600°C) provides enough power to destroy weeds effectively and to light charcoal.
2500 W power
A power input of 2.5 kW at 230V ensures the working temperature is reached quickly and a stable stream of hot air is maintained during continuous operation. Requires a standard mains socket.
Interchangeable nozzles
The set includes additional nozzles suited to different applications. They allow precise direction of the air stream in hard-to-reach places and adjustment of the width of the affected area.

Use and maintenance
How thermal weed destruction works
Exposing plant tissue to a temperature above 60°C for a few seconds causes irreversible cell damage. The weed does not have to be burnt to charcoal – brief heating is enough, after which the plant turns yellow and dies. The effect is visible after 24-48 hours. The method works on all above-ground plants and does not affect seeds in the soil.
Safety during use
The device generates a very high temperature – avoid contact with flammable materials and never point the air stream at your skin. After use, the nozzle remains hot for several minutes. Do not leave the device switched on unattended. Working in protective gloves is recommended.
Performance and operating time
For 1 m² of block paving with moderate weed growth, around 2-3 minutes of work are needed. The device can run continuously, but breaks every 15-20 minutes are recommended to avoid overheating the heating element. The best results are achieved in dry, windless weather.
