A hex key socket that combines the functions of a hex key and a hex socket in a single tool. The design removes the need for additional holders, allowing direct access to internal hex socket screws.
The extended design provides access to screws in deep mounting recesses and hard-to-reach places. The length of the arm increases leverage, which translates into greater torque with less effort from the operator.
The 8 mm size matches standard hex socket screws used in automotive mechanics, industrial machinery and domestic appliances. The hexagonal profile distributes force evenly across six points of contact.
Manufacture from tool steel guarantees resistance to twisting and deformation under load. Surface hardening increases the durability of the edges and reduces the risk of wear during intensive use.
A hex key at one end and a hex socket at the other remove the need to change tools during work. The design allows screws to be tightened and loosened without additional adapters.

Before use, verify the screw recess size with a gauge or another hex key. The 8 mm socket corresponds to screws marked M10-M12 in most mechanical applications. The clearance between the socket and the recess should not exceed 0.1 mm.
During work, make sure the socket is fully seated in the screw recess before applying force. Incomplete seating can damage the edges of the recess or the socket. The key should be used in line with the screw axis, avoiding use at an angle.
After use, clean the tool of contaminants and protect it with a thin layer of maintenance oil. Storing it in a dry place prevents corrosion of the working surface. Periodic inspection of the socket allows signs of wear to be detected before it loses functionality.
For M10 screws with an 8 mm socket, the recommended tightening torque is 40-50 Nm, depending on the screw's strength class and the material being joined. Exceeding the torque can damage the recess or strip the thread. Use of a torque wrench is recommended in applications requiring precise tightening.
