The VOREL 61270 Hi-Tec Phillips screwdriver is a precision tool with a CrV steel blade and an ergonomic handle. The 1.0x150mm size and PH1 profile make it compatible with most standard Phillips screws for domestic and workshop applications.
The blade is made from CrV steel, which offers increased hardness and resistance to wear. This alloy contains chromium (which improves corrosion resistance) and vanadium (which improves mechanical strength), giving the tool a longer service life under intensive use.
The magnetised screwdriver tip holds the screw on the blade while driving, which makes work easier in hard-to-reach places and when assembling overhead. The satin finish on the blade reduces slipping inside the screw recess.
The PH1 (Phillips) designation defines the size of the cross-head recess. PH1 is the second smallest size in the Phillips standard, used for screws with a diameter of 2-3mm. It is well suited to consumer electronics, domestic appliances and the installation of electrical accessories.
The 150mm plastic handle provides sufficient leverage to transmit torque effectively. Its contoured shape reduces hand fatigue during repeated driving and removal of screws.

The PH1 screwdriver fits screws with a cross-head recess marked PH1 or Phillips #1. The blade should go fully into the screw recess without any play. A screwdriver that is too large will damage the recess, while one that is too small will slip and wear the blade. If in doubt, it is worth comparing the size with the screws you have before buying.
A Phillips screwdriver requires simple handling - the blade should be kept perpendicular to the screw surface and firm pressure applied while turning. Too little pressure causes the blade to slip out of the recess and damages both the tool and the screw.
To extend the screwdriver's service life, it is worth cleaning the blade of dirt and drying it after use. CrV steel is resistant to corrosion, but prolonged contact with moisture can lead to rust. The screwdriver should not be used as a lever or a chisel, as this can permanently deform the blade.
The magnetisation of the blade may weaken over time. It can be restored with a neodymium magnet, drawing it several times along the blade in one direction.
