Reusable cable ties with a hook and loop fastening, designed for organising wires and cables in home, office and workshop installations. Made from durable nylon and PU-coated polyester.
Features of hook and loop cable ties
450 mm length
This size allows bundles of cables up to approximately 140 mm in diameter to be fastened. Ties of this length are well suited to organising computer and television cables, as well as electrical installations in rack cabinets and under desks.
25 mm width
The larger contact area provides more secure fastening than narrower ties. This parameter affects holding strength and resistance to loosening under vibration or when cables are moved.
Reusable design
The hook and loop fastening retains its grip through dozens of open and close cycles. The material does not degrade under normal use, which removes the need for replacement when reorganising cabling.
Nylon and PU-coated polyester

How to choose the right cable tie length
A length of 450 mm is enough to wrap around a bundle with a circumference of around 400-420 mm (with allowance for the fastening). To calculate the size you need, measure the circumference of the cable bundle and add 30-50 mm for the hook and loop closure. For smaller bundles, the excess can be wrapped around the cables or the tie folded in half.
Use and maintenance
VOREL hook and loop ties do not require any special tools to fit. Before fitting, it is worth grouping the wires into an even bundle, which makes fastening easier and prevents individual cables from being pinched. The hook and loop should be closed with light tension, avoiding excessive pressure that could damage the cable insulation.
With repeated use, it is worth checking the condition of the hook and loop surface periodically. Dust or fibre contamination can be removed with a brush or compressed air. The polyurethane material can be cleaned with a damp cloth if it becomes dirty.
The ties can be used at temperatures typical of office and workshop environments. The material does not lose its properties at normal humidity levels, although it is not designed for prolonged contact with water.
