A connector that joins two 1/2" quick connectors and incorporates a flow control valve. Designed for extending garden watering systems and water installations that require flow control between two lengths of hose.
Features of the quick connector valve
Twin 1/2" quick connector ports
The design accepts two standard 1/2 inch quick connectors. This is the most widely used standard for garden hoses and watering systems, so the connector is compatible with most water fittings available. Fitting is done by pushing the connector into the socket, with no tools required.
Integrated flow control valve
The built-in valve lets you adjust the water flow rate gradually without disconnecting any hoses. Turning the knob fully shuts off the flow, so working attachments can be changed without turning the water off at the tap. Useful when working with different garden tools.
ABS and ASA materials resistant to outdoor conditions
The body is made from ABS and ASA plastics, which resist UV radiation, temperature fluctuations and mechanical impact. ASA, used for the outer parts of the housing, offers better colour stability and weather resistance than standard ABS, which extends the life of the product.
Leak-tight construction
Internal seals and precisely made quick connector sockets minimise the risk of leaking joints. The seal holds with the valve fully open as well as partly closed. The connectors click audibly to confirm they are seated correctly.

How to check compatibility with your existing equipment
The 1/2" quick connector standard is the most common one for garden hoses with a 13 mm internal diameter and a 19 mm external diameter. Before buying, check the marking on your existing connectors or measure the diameter of the threaded end of the hose. Most watering systems made after 2000 use this standard. Older installations may require a conversion adapter.
Use and maintenance
To fit the valve, push the quick connector plugs into both sockets until you hear the click that confirms they are locked. To remove them, press the release collar on the connector and pull the plug out. Before first use, rinse the valve with water to remove any manufacturing residue.
When adjusting the flow, turn the valve knob smoothly without using excessive force. The valve should close fully against light resistance. Leaving the valve half open for long periods at high water pressure is not recommended, as it can wear the seals more quickly.
At the end of the garden season, disconnect the valve, drain the water out of it and store it in a frost-free place. Although the materials resist low temperatures, water freezing inside the mechanism can damage the seals. Check the seals periodically and replace them if necessary, which extends the life of the product.
