The KD1985 is a hydraulic bottle jack with a pillar-type body, designed for lifting loads of up to 20,000 kg. A precision oil valve system delivers controlled, even lifting across a range from 235 to 445 mm, with a net weight of around 9.7 kg.
Precise oil metering through the valve system allows the ram to operate smoothly, without sudden jolts. This is particularly important under heavy loads and in jobs that require accurate positioning of the component.
A compact body combined with a high load capacity translates into a small working footprint. The jack can be used in tight spaces — under a vehicle's underbody, between machine frame components or in a confined service pit.
A minimum working height of 235 mm allows the jack to be placed under low-slung vehicles and structures. The maximum height of 445 mm covers typical work on axles, drive axles and the underbodies of commercial vehicles.
A capacity of 20 tonnes at 9.7 kg means the unit can handle both passenger cars and heavy agricultural or construction equipment. The weight allows one person to carry the jack between workstations without additional transport equipment.

Before use, three parameters must be verified: (1) whether the mass of the load being lifted does not exceed 20 tonnes, (2) whether the minimum height of the lifting point is at least 235 mm — the height the jack occupies when fully collapsed, (3) whether the target lifting height falls within the range of up to 445 mm. On vehicles with low sports suspension, the 235 mm minimum height may be a limiting factor — in which case a spacer block is required or a model with a lower minimum working height should be selected.
The KD1985 bottle jack is a hydraulic device filled with hydraulic fluid. Correct operation requires observing the following rules:
