Safe use of the hydraulic jack
Before starting to lift, check that the ground is stable and make sure the jack is positioned perpendicular to the surface. Maintenance and use

Before each use, carry out a test lift without a load to make sure the ram moves smoothly and there are no leaks. The release valve should be closed when lifting and opened gradually when lowering.
After use, clean the jack of any dirt and store it in a dry room with the ram fully lowered. Regular maintenance includes lubricating the moving parts and checking the condition of the hydraulic seals. If pumping is difficult or lifting is uneven, the hydraulic system may need to be bled.
