T20 90 mm S2 Impact Bit
Professional impact bit with a Torx T20 tip, made from S2 shock-resistant steel. The extended 90 mm design allows work in deep holes and hard-to-reach places, while the magnetic tip holds fasteners securely in place.
Technical features
S2 Shock-Resistant Steel
The S2 material has a hardness of 58-60 HRC while remaining flexible. Unlike standard chrome vanadium (Cr-V) steel, S2 steel contains added silicon and molybdenum, which increases resistance to impact loads and reduces the risk of cracking during intensive work with impact drivers.
Torx T20 Tip
The six-lobe Torx T20 profile provides a larger contact area with the screw than a standard cross-head. The T20 size corresponds to a tip diameter of 3.86 mm and is widely used on 4-5 mm screws. This design reduces the tightening torque needed to achieve the same clamping force.
Extended 90 mm Design
The 90 mm length (compared with the standard 50 mm) allows work in deep mounting recesses, spaces behind panels and on screws set in thick materials. Particularly useful when fixing plasterboard, suspended ceilings and electrical installations.
Magnetic Tip
A neodymium magnet in the tip holds screws in place during positioning, which speeds up work when installing overhead or in places with limited access. The magnetic force is sufficient to stabilise fasteners without the risk of them falling out when the tool is moved.

Screw compatibility
The T20 bit fits screws marked Torx T20 or TX20. Before purchase, check the marking on the screw head – the wrong size will damage the profile and prevent effective tightening. If in doubt, use a Torx gauge or measure the diameter of the Torx star (3.86 mm for T20).
Use and maintenance
The S2 impact bit is designed for use with impact and standard drivers. When used with impact drivers, it is advisable to switch to impact mode only after the screw has been initially tightened – this prevents thread damage. The maximum torque depends on the driver's specifications, but the bit is designed to withstand loads of up to 50 Nm.
Keep the bit perpendicular to the screw axis during use – working at an angle accelerates tip wear and can damage the Torx profile. After use, clean any debris from the tip, as it can weaken the magnet.
Bit wear shows as rounding of the Torx profile edges. When this happens, the bit loses its grip on the screw and needs replacing. Average service life in professional use is 500-800 screws, depending on the hardness of the material and the tightening force.
