Impact socket, 43 mm, with a 3/4" drive, made from chrome molybdenum steel. Designed for use with pneumatic, electric and cordless impact wrenches in workshop and industrial environments.
A material with enhanced resistance to impact and mechanical fatigue. The structure of CR-MO steel absorbs the vibration generated during impact wrench operation, which prevents cracking and deformation of the tool under repeated dynamic loads.
A 19.05 mm (3/4 inch) square drive – the standard used in professional impact tools with medium and high torque. Compatible with impact wrenches from 600 Nm upwards.
Load forces are distributed across six points of contact instead of two, as is the case with flat profiles. This reduces the risk of rounding the edges of a bolt or nut, particularly with corroded or over-tightened fasteners.
Allows a retaining pin to be fitted to prevent the socket from falling out of the wrench drive during use. Useful for assembly in hard-to-reach locations and when working at height.

Impact sockets are made from CR-MO steel because its mechanical properties are suited to dynamic loads. CR-V steel (chrome vanadium), used in hand tools, is not suitable for impact applications.
| Parameter | CR-MO (chrome molybdenum) | CR-V (chrome vanadium) |
|---|---|---|
| Impact resistance | Very high – a flexible material that absorbs impact energy | Limited – may crack under dynamic loads |
| Hardness under load | Retains hardness even under high loads | Good hardness, but may lose its properties under impact |
| Application | Impact wrenches, pneumatic tools, industrial use | Hand wrenches, standard sockets, DIY tools |
| Fatigue strength | High – withstands repeated load cycles | Moderate – may be damaged under intensive use |
Impact wrenches generate a series of short, intense impulses with a force reaching several thousand newton metres. CR-V steel, used in hand tools, is too brittle for this type of load – it may crack or undergo permanent deformation. Thanks to its molybdenum content, CR-MO steel has a flexible structure that absorbs impact energy without damaging the material.
Before purchase, make sure your impact wrench has a 3/4" drive. Also check that the torque output of the tool matches the socket size – for a 43 mm socket, wrenches with a torque of 600 Nm and above are recommended. Smaller tools may not provide sufficient tightening force.
After each use, clean the socket of dirt and protect it against corrosion. During intensive work it is worth periodically checking the condition of the internal profile – worn edges can damage bolts. Storing the tool in a dry place extends its service life.
